Services
I offer psychotherapy for adults in a private practice in central Oslo. The aim is a calm, professional space where we can understand what is going on, identify patterns that keep you stuck, and work toward meaningful change—at a pace that is realistic for you.
Who this is for
You do not need a clear diagnosis to start therapy. Many people reach out when they:
- feel persistent anxiety, low mood, or stress
- struggle with sleep problems that affect everyday functioning
- experience relationship difficulties, conflict, or major life transitions
- have been through difficult events, or have long-standing patterns they want to change
- want support in a demanding period (work, studies, illness, loss)
Services (common areas)
Below are a few common topics I work with. These pages provide general information and can help you decide what to explore further.
Anxiety is a natural part of being human. It can arise when we face danger, pressure, or uncertainty-and it functions as the body's alarm system.

Read more → Relationships and life crisesRelationships shape stress, coping, and mental health. Read about common life crises, relational patterns, and what may help.
Read more → SleepMany people experience periods of poor sleep. For persistent insomnia, CBT-I is one of the most widely used and best-studied treatment approaches.

How therapy works
Therapy is tailored to you, but often follows a simple structure:
Assessment
We clarify what you are struggling with, what maintains it, and what you want to change.
Goals and plan
We agree on a clear focus and a realistic plan for the work ahead.
Ongoing work and adjustment
We work systematically over time and adjust based on progress and your needs.
Approach (methods and fit)
I combine elements from cognitive therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy. In practice, this can mean working both with concrete tools for change and with deeper patterns that influence emotions, relationships, and self-understanding.
You do not need to know in advance “which type of therapy” you need. What matters most is that it feels relevant, safe, and adapted to you.
